Generator Enclosures Shelter Critical Assets from the Elements

Robinson produces American-made standard and custom generator enclosures at virtually any scale. Robinson's design and fabrication teams focus on delivering the performance needed to protect these important assets from the elements, thereby extending product lifespan and maximizing ROI. Robinson offers in-house expertise across the full scope of a project through a single point of contact.

"Backup power is among the most common applications for generator enclosures, ensuring power is available in the event of interrupted service," said a company spokesperson. "Power availability is critical for infrastructure like hospitals, apartment complexes, police stations, fire stations, and data centers. Industry leading engine manufacturers seek Robinson's quality manufacturing and packaging services to enclose their proprietary product."

The spokesperson continued, "As a leading contract manufacturer in the energy industry, we have the expertise to take generator enclosures from project design through fabrication, factory acceptance testing (FAT), and onsite set-up. This simplification of the supply chain makes it easy for our customers to secure product from a single vendor account. Bringing our design and manufacturing team on board early in the development process is particularly beneficial when it comes to custom enclosures as it ensures the final product is designed to the specific application."

Designing for customer-specific characteristics is a specialty of Robinson's, particularly when compared to the standardized containers on the market, the company noted. "This is where our team's expertise and ability to adapt really shine, as few producers can package OEM diesel engines as a single turn-key solution," said the spokesperson.
