Flexxbotics Announces Further Expansion with Offices at Newlab

Flexxbotics, delivering digital solutions for robot-driven manufacturing at scale, has announced a strategic expansion with new offices in Newlab at Michigan Central in Detroit. Driven by growing demand for manufacturing autonomy with autonomous process control, the new facilities position Flexxbotics for even tighter collaboration with customers and partners across the Midwest.

The expansion places Flexxbotics at the center of yet another advanced manufacturing cluster in the United States with Detroit's concentration of automotive, defense, industrial, and medical sectors, making it an important geography for reindustrialization.

"We are excited to welcome Flexxbotics to Newlab Detroit," said Riley Hall, General Manager at Newlab. "Flexxbotics is an ideal fit for our community-its technology is built for next generation manufacturing environments, and its focus on deployment and scalability reflects exactly the kind of innovation we aim to support here in Detroit."

Newlab is a global platform for innovation hubs that focus on scaling critical technologies transforming core industries. Newlab operates five innovation centers around the world that connect high-growth technology companies with industrial ecosystems for cross-sector networking and deployment.

Flexxbotics digitalizes production automation for next-generation smart factory autonomy. Its FlexxCORE technology seamlessly connects and coordinates robots with existing automation equipment, IT systems, and people to enable true lights out manufacturing.

"We are aligned with Newlab's strategic approach to manufacturing transformation and believe attaining autonomous process control in production automation is the key to scaling factory autonomy," said Tyler Bouchard, CEO and founder of Flexxbotics. "As customer demand in the Great Lakes region continues to accelerate, expanding our presence in the Detroit area further strengthens our resources in one of the nation's leading industrial innovation centers."
