Extended HBE Series Band Saws

The versatile HBE is a rigid, fully enclosed automatic band saw with a solid cast iron bow frame construction from Behringer. This cast iron-which is produced in the company's own foundry in Germany-is specially designed to dampen vibrations and contributes to the cut quality and the blade life of the saw. The rigid cast iron construction also provides consistency across projects.

Engineered to provide safety, energy efficiency, the HBE series caters to a wide range of applications from aluminum to stainless steel, single bars to bundle cutting and everything in between.

These machines offer a variety of standardized features. The ball screw servo-driven feeding gripper provides tight and repeatable length tolerances while leaving short remnant pieces to minimize waste. Precision guiding systems help ensure operators get the right cut. Frequency-controlled drive motors contribute to efficiency and eliminate variances. Electrically controlled chip brushes efficiently remove chips for better blade life, cut quality and machine cleanliness. Material feeding capabilities make handling and maneuvering payload a breeze.

Available in seven models-ranging in size from 10" to 41" of cutting capacity-the HBE series is designed to provide dependable performance whether cutting small orders, bundle cutting or high-production slugging.

Behringer has recently extended its HBE series with a range of 3D saws to cover all additive manufacturing cutting applications. With the available models of the HBE 3D series, all common printing plate dimensions can be processed.

Familiar features such as the cutting pressure control and blade deflection monitoring system provide for precise cutting results in an even greater variety of material qualities. With flexible solutions working in both standard operations and in operations with 3D printing plates, Behringer offers a customizable complete package, adapting to customer's unique needs.
