Prototek Announces Consolidation of Four Business Units

Digital manufacturing firm Prototek has announced the formal absorption of the four business units it has acquired over the past few years. All five companies are now under the Prototek brand.

The acquisitions include Sac EDM & Waterjet, Inc., Midwest Prototyping, ProtoCAM and Prototype Solutions Group. Headquartered in New Hampshire, with additional locations spanning the United States, the consolidation of these state-of-the-art digital manufacturing companies will provide current customers and prospects more solutions and higher quality standards. This move marks a significant milestone for Prototek, as its strategic growth initiatives continue to expand in the digital manufacturing space.

"The decision comes as a result of Prototek leadership listening to customers and prospects in the marketplace, what their demands are and how to better position the organization for success in the future," said a company spokesperson. "Prototek offers a comprehensive range of digital manufacturing services in the United States, including additive manufacturing, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, wire and sinker EDM and more. The culmination of these services under one organization means more experience, higher quality and faster results available for clients, all with an emphasis on innovation."

"This consolidation allows us to provide more solutions to our valued customers," said Bill Bonadio, CEO of Prototek. "We understand that each project is unique, and our hands-on approach, coupled with our clients' vision, helps to build smart solutions from innovation to scale. And, our clients can rest assured that our processes and quality are among the best across the industry."

Prototek has also officially launch its new website, complete with full-service listing and fast prototype quoting. "The website is another way Prototek is continuing to provide innovation and leadership for customers and prospects throughout the industries served, including aerospace and defense, automotive, medical, energy and consumer products," said the spokesperson.

Prototek is focused on providing a seamless transition and consolidation of these five organizations into one. "Current customers and stakeholders will find that the level of service and quality will remain the same, if not increase, with the help of the expanded offerings," said the spokesperson. "Prototek has heavily invested in quality control measures and processes to meet the needs and expectations of our customers and evolving industry practices."
