CAMplete Solutions Partners with Haas F1 Team

CAMplete Solutions Inc. has partnered with Haas F1 Team in the FIA Formula One World Championship.

CAMplete has 20 years of experience in 5-axis machining and machine simulation. "CAMplete TruePath bridges the gap between all major CAM systems and milling machines by providing everything needed to post and simulate 5-axis tool paths in a dedicated 3-D environment," said a company spokesperson.

CAMplete TruePath provides tools for simulating and verifying tool paths by delivering an enhanced level of control over the programs utilized by CNC machinists. With CAMplete TruePath's tool path editor, all data is kept synchronized regardless of what edits are made.

"Every program created in our shop is posted and simulated in CAMplete TruePath," said Greg Syverson, CNC Shop Manager, Haas F1 Team. "It has been invaluable for helping us achieve successful, unattended machining of complex components made specifically for wind-tunnel testing on our 60% scale-model car."

Real-time simulation from CAMplete TruePath shows users how their programs will operate in the real world. Problems can be identified and corrected before a program is ever sent to a milling machine. Simulating the true machine path allows operators to isolate 5-axis deviation errors, eliminating guesswork. This is crucial in the high-tech world of Formula One, where tolerances are tight and success or failure is determined by thousandths of a second.

"We are thrilled to officially announce our partnership with Haas F1 Team," said Jeff Fritsch, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, CAMplete. "Formula One is more than an exciting worldwide sporting event watched by millions, it is also one of the most technically challenging fields of engineering. Knowing the complex nature of the work done by Haas F1 Team, we are proud that our software solutions are providing the team the tools it needs to compete at the highest level. At CAMplete, we thrive on helping our users excel in the most challenging endeavors. We are excited for the challenges ahead and look forward to supporting and growing with Haas F1 Team in the FIA Formula One World Championship."

CAMplete TruePath's post-processor allows users to switch between different CAM Systems or combine tool paths from different CAM Systems into a single project. CAMplete TruePath can create and edit unlimited custom G-code formats and apply them to any project.
