The Southern States Machinery team and local dignitaries cut the ribbon at the grand opening of the company's second location.

Southern States Machinery officially opened its new showroom by welcoming hundreds of fabricators, engineers, machine tool builders, friends and colleagues to its new Mooresville, NC, showroom for an inaugural event. "The 2018 tHINk Different Expo brought together some of the brightest minds in the industry with a focus on improving business in the year ahead," said a company spokesperson.
Southern States Machinery is a distributor of precision sheet metal fabrication machine tools and has sales engineers, service technicians and application engineers located up and down the East Coast, with Mooresville being its second technology center.
Attendees were able to tour the 6,000 sq. ft. facility and see the custom designed showroom, as well as the large training rooms built for educational events and seminars. During the three-day event, application engineers performed live machine demonstrations and factory experts hosted a number of technical seminars throughout the day.
