2-D Measurements for Larger Profiles
September 1, 2018
The Werth FlatScope offers rapid optical measurement of 2-D components with high precision requirements. The constant measurement plane, automatic detection of component orientation, the patented "raster scanning" and "OnTheFly" operating modes minimize cycle times. With the "raster scanning" operating mode, the measurement range is not limited to the field of view of the optics. A measurement range of 400 mm x 200 mm can be measured at a resolution of up to 100 megapixels in just a few seconds. The machine is available with measurement ranges up to 650 mm by 600 mm.
The patented Werth "Flatlight" telecentric backlight light system is mounted in the machine hood. The controller is integrated in the machine with thermal insulation to save space in a shop floor environment.
The chief area of application is the measurement of complex profiles (e.g., rubber, plastic and aluminum profiles), as well as films, circuit boards, laser-cut and fine-stamped parts.
