(l-r) Graham Hooper, Ellison President and CEO, with Koldo Arandia, IBARMIA President and CEO

IBARMIA Innovatek, S.L.U., located in the Basque Country of northern Spain and builder of large 5-axis and multi-process machining centers, has named Ellison Technologies, Inc. as its exclusive U.S. importer responsible for sales, support and distribution.

"The exclusive agreement for the U.S. territory with Ellison Technologies is a milestone for our company that we assume with excitement and responsibility," said Koldo Arandia, President and CEO of IBARMIA. "The high technology provided by IBARMIA in Europe will now be available in the U.S. with the support of a professional and capable organization like Ellison Technologies. Both our companies share the same vision of equipping U.S. manufacturers with machining solutions of the highest productivity."

As the U.S. importer, Ellison Technologies will provide existing and new IBARMIA customers with enhanced local support, including sales and project management, engineering solutions, national call centers for service, technical support and parts fulfillment.

"We are pleased to be the exclusive importer of the IBARMIA product," said Graham Hooper, CEO of Ellison Technologies.
