Caron Engineering Breaks Ground on New Facility
October 1, 2017
Caron Engineering is celebrating 30 years in business with growth in sales, employees and now, a new, larger building. Owners Rob Caron, President, and Carolyn Caron-Stratos, Vice President, closed the deal on the land recently and celebrated by breaking ground at the new site.
Caron Engineering develops retrofit solutions to enhance the performance and productivity of machine tools for the manufacturing industry. "In an era where customers are embracing new cost-saving technologies and automation solutions, Caron Engineering has consequently experienced significant growth in the past few years. This growth has naturally uncovered the need for a larger space," said a company spokesperson.
Caron's new 12,000 sq. ft. facility will sit on a 16-acre lot, just a mile off the Atlantic coastline in Wells, ME. The building will accommodate workspace for both current and future employees, and feature an expanded showroom and customer training capacities.
The move is scheduled for early Spring of 2018.
