Acquisition Positions Anderson Manufacturing for Strategic Growth
October 1, 2017
Anderson Manufacturing, a family-owned specialty fastener business for nearly 40 years, has been acquired by David Muslin and Todd DiBenedetto, principals of Illinois-based Big Shoulders Capital.
Muslin and DiBenedetto have reorganized the management team to position the company for strong growth in the specialty and complex cold-formed fastener business. Tim Cash has been appointed President and brings more than 20 years of experience with the company to his new position.
"Our business is very specialized and requires an expertise that is not common among mass producers of fasteners," said Cash. "We thrive on solving challenging issues and in creating high-quality precision fasteners for applications in medical, automotive, electronics, appliances, hardware and housewares. We have highly skilled and experienced team members who allow us to create solutions where others simply cannot. Our plan is to leverage and grow that expertise."
Anderson also has plans to grow organically by entering new markets and by making strategic acquisitions.
"We saw this as an opportunity to invest in a company with a demonstrated track record of success and a high ceiling for the future," said Muslin.
