Falcon Steel America Hires Industry Veteran to Lead Sales Team

Alan Morris

Falcon Steel America (FSA), a fabricator of American-made steel structures, has hired 25-year industry veteran Alan Morris as Senior Vice President, Sales. Morris will lead the sales team charged with selling the company's one-stop capabilities for the electric utility, telecommunications and highway/transportation industries.

"We are seeing unprecedented growth in our business, and that calls for a skilled sales manager and business developer who has the vision to interpret client needs and to sell our portfolio of products and services to an expanding client base," said CEO Jim Taylor. "With Alan, we have the right mix of talent and industry respect to help deliver on our long-standing commitment to providing quality products and responsive customer service."

Until recently, Morris served as Vice President of Sales - Central Region for Anixter, Inc. (formerly HD Supply Power Solutions), which sells electric utility products and services. He is a board member and treasurer of Utility Supply Management Alliance (USMA).

"It is an exciting time to join the team of professionals at FSA. The company is reaching into additional markets and continuing to innovate with new product offerings while remaining true to its core values of integrity, quality and service," said Morris.

"FSA builds and galvanizes monopoles and substations and is the only fabricator of high voltage steel-lattice towers in the U.S., making it possible to quickly deliver critical structures to customers especially in times of disaster," said a company spokesperson. The company believes in being environmentally responsible and uses recycled steel whenever possible.
