WIMTS Show Adds 3M Exhibit and Next Generation Manufacturing Summit to 2017 Event

The Wisconsin Manufacturing & Technology Show (WIMTS), will feature 148,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space full of machining, metrology, design, waterjet, fabrication, welding, software, digital, 3-D printing and engineering expertise and services. The show will also include the Next Generation Manufacturing Summit and an interactive 3M exhibit for industrial professionals. The WIMTS will run October 3-5 at the Exposition Center at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, WI. If registered before September 15, attendees will save $15 show admission fee.

This year's 3M exhibit will be open from 9 AM - 5 PM, and will feature the Safety Roadshow-a 48', fully-equipped, mobile training center showcasing 3M's industrial safety expertise and personal protective equipment. 3M will also highlight product innovations from a variety of business units. The Safety Roadshow truck will conduct trainings all day, while attendees can meet 3M personnel and learn about the latest products and trends driving industrial business today.

3M is the platinum sponsor of the Next Generation Manufacturing Summit, also held October 4 from 7 AM - 11 AM. This paid event, presented by BizTimes Media and Milwaukee 7, will feature a panel of manufacturing executives, including Matt McKenzie, Director of Abrasive Manufacturing for 3M. Panelists will share best practices and insights related to competing in a global marketplace. Following the panel discussion, attendees can select from four different 25-minute roundtable sessions. Roundtables will include such topics as growth through exporting and sales, supply chain management, process improvement, leadership development, acquisitions, talent pipeline, innovation, additive manufacturing and much more.

Separate paid registration is required for the Summit: www.biztimes.com/mfg.
