Cimquest will hold an Advanced Manufacturing Expo October 18-19. Taking place at Cimquest's 25,000 sq. ft. facility in Branchburg, NJ, this year's event will feature over 30 suppliers and leading equipment manufacturers.
"Designers, machinists, engineers and business owners will have the opportunity to see the latest industry solutions, discuss prevalent challenges and share constructive ideas," said a company spokesperson. "Desktop Metal Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer Jonah Myerberg will also reveal the impressive process behind the first office-friendly metal 3-D printer."
Technologies on display will include the latest in 3-D printing, CAD and CAM software, CNC machining, machine tools, 3-D scanning, CMMs, reverse engineering software, mold design and more. There will be 24 educational sessions allowing attendees to gain insight on real world practices.
The Advanced Manufacturing Expo, which started out as an Open House event, is designed to provide true educational content for attendees. Cimquest CEO Robert Hassold said, "The biggest challenge facing our customers today is the rapid pace of change in the industry. Many of these changes are not optional for companies looking to become or stay relevant in the future. Our goal is to provide a unique opportunity for attendees to gain an understanding of these changes that could potentially make a real difference to their businesses."
