Large Series Roll Style Lathes
January 1, 2014
Neway CNC-USA offers its NLH series flat bed roll style CNC lathes to the U.S. market.
These machines were designed using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in both the static and moving state to help ensure optimum performance. These lathes come with an additional front auxiliary guideway to support the cross slide, allow for a larger cutting diameter and eliminate flutter caused during heavy cutting.
"Featuring dual chip conveyors and a variety of optional equipment, these machines can be tailored made to meet customer requirements," said a company spokesperson. "With a swing over bed starting at 33 inches to 67 inches and swing over cross slide starting at 20 inches to 65 inches and bed lengths from 65 inches to 236 inches (optional longer beds available), these machines are designed to machine applications from aircraft rings to oil field shafts.
"The flat V way flat guide way combination offers an optimum span design, with three-point support and a two-stage, four-speed gear shifting spindle system providing heavy-duty cutting capacity. The ball screws are double-nut and preloaded for accurate positioning and long life. Standard is the FANUC CNC control system, full guarding, with parts, applications and service support from Neway."
