Citizen's Innovation line now includes the Cincom L12VII sliding headstock CNC lathe and the Miyano BNA-42GTY high performance CNC turning center.
"Up until now, a variety of machines have been required for optimum machining of long and short workpieces," said a company spokesperson. "The Cincom L12VII solves this problem by providing a detachable guide bushing that can be easily installed or removed so the machine configuration suits the workpiece to be machined. Featuring the Citizen Cincom all axis control, the L12 also features a 35 m/min rapid feedrate with fast acceleration, a 28 tool capacity configured around a high speed 15,000 RPM spindle and a 10,000 RPM back spindle. The user-friendly editing function, which utilizes multi-line multi-axes programming along with superimposed and synchronized control, makes easy work of the toughest applications."
The Miyano BNA-42GTY is a 10-axis turning center with two spindles, main turret with Y-axis, rotary tool drive and gang tool with Y-axis. It includes the new Mitsubishi M730VS control that comes standard with a variety of CNC features designed to reduce idle time and provide easy set-up for increased productivity. Its half-position turret indexing mechanism offers 16-station tooling availability and X1-Y1 axis superimposing control makes simultaneous front-back machining possible. Cutting with up to three tools simultaneously with 10-axis control shortens machining times.
