Kitamura Machinery offers its Mycenter-HX400G horizontal machining center (HMC) for medium to large size parts that require higher levels of accuracy and productivity. This 400 mm machining center is manufactured in Japan with hand scraping production techniques and offers accuracies of ±0.000079" full stroke, ±0.000039" repeatability.
Solid Box Guideways are equipped with linear scale feedback on all axes for enhanced accuracy and stability. A standard 2-station APC is field expandable and is coupled with full 360° 4th axis capability.
The Mycenter-HX400G utilizes a high speed 15,000 RPM spindle with dual contact design for high velocity machining on a wide range of materials. Kitamura's Intelligent Advanced Control System coupled with spindle oil-cooling unit promote efficiency and reduce heat displacement while allowing for cutting gains in precision cutting operations.
Kitamura's Mycenter-HX400G offers a maximum workpiece size of 24.80° x 29.33" (Dia. x H) within a small footprint. High-speed rapid feedrates of 1,969 IPM on solid box ways boost work throughput.
A 50 tool fixed pot automatic tool changer is standard with upgrade capabilities of up to 300 tools in the field. The high-speed processing of the Arumatik-Mi controller is designed to allow for smoother and faster machining of complex workpieces. It offers the potential to add 5th axis simultaneous machining capabilities on both pallets.
