Precision Upcut Saw for Aluminum Extrusions and Profiles

PMI upcut Precision Cutoff Saws from Pat Mooney Inc. are designed to saw aluminum profiles quickly and accurately with a burr free mirror finish.

"The upcut saw blade is mounted on a turntable to set up mitre cuts in seconds," said a company spokesperson. "The workpiece does not need to be moved from the 90 degree in feed direction. The 7.5 HP saw motor allows maximum cutting force and chip removal. Additional motor power extends the life of the blades between regrinds."

"The upcut blade is housed under the work table and travels through the workpiece. This has several advantages such as safety, chip removal and longer blade life."

The pneumatic clamping system has adjustable clamping pressure designed to prevent distortion of thin wall profiles. The upcut saw blade feed is controlled via pneumatic cylinder with full control of the feed rate.

Pat Mooney, Inc. is a family owned and operated business. It provides metal sawing equipment and blades, responsive customer and technical support and supplies spare parts for equipment sold.
