iOS App Designed to Modernize Manufacturing Industry Operations

EFE Laboratories, a contract manufacturer and OEM of electromechanical engineering solutions for communications, industrial controls, aerospace and medical device industries, offers a free tablet application, "EFE Engineer's Companion," available for iOS devices. The app is designed to bring innovation to the manufacturing industry by modernizing an engineering tool known as the Screw Data Selector, used for determining sizes of various screws, threads, drills and holes.
"The EFE Engineer's Companion App provides engineers with a modern, simple and streamlined solution to help increase operations and improve efficiency," said a company spokesperson. "The app has the same functionality as the Screw Data Selector, which serves as a primary source for drafting supplies and drawing equipment. Now it is readily available for manufacturers with the touch of a finger, presenting information in a much faster way on a large display, making it effortless to scan the data."
The EFE Engineer's Companion app is now available to download for free in the iTunes store, with an Android version soon to follow.
