CERATIZIT Promotes Grismore to Sales Director Central Zone

Shannon Grismore

CERATIZIT USA has promoted Shannon Grismore to Sales Director, Central Zone. Grismore, who brings nearly three decades of machining, sales and application experience to the role, will oversee a growing seven-state territory that includes Indiana, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio.

Prior to assuming his new position, Grismore supported and assisted CERATIZIT customers as a sales engineer in southern Indiana and Kentucky for almost three years.

An Indiana native, Grismore understands Midwestern manufacturing at the shop floor level and has established strong relationships with customers within the region. Grismore spent 13 years as a machinist with the former Delaware Machinery & Tool Company, Inc., which designed, engineered and manufactured tools for die cast components. He transitioned to an applications specialist with a standard and custom tool maker and then took that experience into a sales engineer position with a major cutting tool manufacturer.

"Shannon's extensive experience as a machinist allows him to understand the requirements and challenges encountered on the shop floor," said Troy Wilt, Managing Director of CERATIZIT USA, Cutting Tools Division. "That ability combined with his deep product knowledge will continue to drive growth and customer satisfaction in CERATIZIT's Central Zone."

"Manufacturing is core to my professional path as well as my personal story," Grismore said. "In states I now oversee, more than two million people are employed in the industry. My goal is to bring our culture of excellence and collaboration to customers, so they have cutting-edge solutions to remain competitive in a rapidly changing machining landscape."
