ALP Cutting Tools has introduced the .
"Our parent company, ALP Aviation, a joint venture of Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation in Turkey, produces 90% of its cutting tools for internal use," said a company spokesperson. "To address the challenges of machining nickel-based super alloys, ALP Aviation has developed patented carbide combined ceramic endmills. After observing their exceptional performance, it was decided to introduce to the market, sharing our expertise with companies facing similar challenges with materials like Inconel, Waspaloy, Rene and Hastelloy."
According to the company, key advantages of ACT Ceramic Endmills include:
- Durability: They offer 10x longer tool life for uninterrupted productivity and reduced downtime.
- Speed: With a stock removal rate 3x faster than conventional carbide end mills and a minimum spindle speed of 12,000 RPM, Ceramic Endmills achieve cutting speeds ranging from approximately 300 to 1,000 meters per minute.
- Patented design and diverse diameter range: Ceramic and carbide are combined through a patented process for increased performance. Choose from O8, O10, O12 and O16 diameters to meet diverse project needs.

- Maximized chip volume: Achieve approximately 8 cu. cm/min of chip removal
- Two length options: Endmills are available in 80 mm and 110 mm lengths.
