Kinzie Capital Partners Acquires Fraser Steel, LLC

Kinzie Capital Partners LP, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has announced the acquisition of Fraser Steel, LLC, a manufacturer of value-added steel tubular products.

"For 55 years, Fraser has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality steel tubular products, and Kinzie is the right partner to help the business scale to new heights," said Rod Fraser, founder of Fraser Steel, LLC. "I am confident that Fraser is well-positioned to expand its capabilities, innovate its products and reach new markets in this next chapter."

Founded in 1970, Fraser provides design and engineering, laser tube cutting, precision bending, robotic welding, machining and fabrication services. With a strong focus on customer service, the company serves diverse end markets, including powersports, commercial furniture, lawn and garden and agriculture. Operating from an 80,000-sq.-ft. facility outside of Minneapolis, MN, Fraser manufactures up to 200,000 parts per day.

"Our partnership with Kinzie Capital Partners represents a pivotal moment for Fraser," said Baxter Stephenson, CEO of Fraser Steel, LLC. "Kinzie recognizes our potential for growth and is committed to providing the resources and expertise needed to expand our operations. We are excited about this next phase and look forward to building on our success together."

Leading the transaction for Kinzie was Kinzie Principal, Mike Eisinger, and Operating Partner, Dan Harvey, who will continue working closely with Fraser's management team and serve on the Company's board.

"Fraser has built an impressive legacy as a trusted supplier of high-quality steel tubular products, and we see tremendous opportunity for growth ahead," said Suzanne Yoon, Managing Partner of Kinzie. "We are excited to partner with the Fraser team to support expansion, product innovation and operational excellence. We are also incredibly grateful to Rod Fraser for entrusting us with the company's future."
