Mikron Tool Expands Production Area

Mikron Tool has constructed a new 1,000 sq. m production hall at its Agno, Switzerland location, bringing production area to a total of 3,500 sq. m. The expansion allows Mikron Tool to add additional production capacity, and customers will benefit from shorter delivery times.
During construction, Mikron Tool replaced the old oil heating system with a state-of-the-art mixing plant for heat recovery from production. Mikron Tool ceased using fossil fuels in December 2021. The outdated refrigeration system was also completely replaced. With this upgrade, 350,000 kW of electricity will be saved annually. This is in line with Mikron Tool's commitment to environmentally friendly resource consumption.
