Jergens Appoints Schron As Vice President, General Manager

Jergens announced that Matt Schron will add to his position as General Manager to now include Vice President. As an executive of the business overseeing Workholding, Lifting and Specialty Fasteners divisions, Schron's promotion allows for expedited execution of agreements and contracts that support the company's key business initiatives.

Schron has been the Jergens General Manager since early 2019, and before that was GM for Jergens Industrial Supply (JIS), sold to PT Solutions in 2022. In his more than 20-year career at Jergens, Schron has worked in three of the four divisions, including numerous positions in marketing, product management and sales.

Schron said, "Our focus is to continue to grow sales, not only in the U.S., but also every other major market in the world. We are continuing our strategic acquisitions that center around our core business. At the same time, we are committed to investing in our engineering teams to support customer applications and new product development."

Before joining Jergens, Schron attended Ohio University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in marketing with sales certification. Continuing his education at Cleveland State University, he graduated with an MBA in 2007 before joining the company.
