ONA EDM offers the IRIS die-sinking EDM range. Features include integration of digital tools, graphics engine with an easy-to-use touchscreen and 100% digital, configurable and programmable generator. Tools include improvements in terms of data download and transfer, external connections, security, integration with other software and remote process management.
The ONA IRIS can integrate the company's Security Pack, a system that allows for the creation of an administrator, the configuration of different profiles, limiting the modification or deletion of files, as well as blocking external access or logging machine work and run times. These are designed to help businesses safely and easily manage sensitive information.
Due to the graphics engine, operators will be able to simulate processes before executing them, verify results and change the configuration as necessary, all while the machine is in full production of another job. A large touch screen also allows for use in tablet mode and, together with a user-friendly interface and digital JOBS manager, project management experience is improved. With Smart IRIS Desktop, users can use the CNC simulator from a computer.
The ONA IRIS generator (400A) is 100% digital, configurable and programmable. Plus, the generator has an Expert System that allows the erosion process to be optimized. This translates into improvements in productivity, finishes, corners and edges and longer machine life.
The ONA IRIS CNC displays 3D models of parts and electrodes in a wide variety of file formats (STEP, IGES, VRML, BREP, etc.).
