A certified deburring department provides the tools and experience needed to meet the standards required for Jam's DOD/military, optical, aerospace, medical and industrial customers. Besides the three buildings that actually contain both the machine tools and coating operations, Jam integrates two metrology labs that utilize the latest in technology and software to ensure that customer parts are accurately inspected to be defect-free. The Zeiss CMM Contura model plays an important part in measuring components with complex geometries to achieve the required quality goals. Zeiss stereo microscopes with 50x magnification levels also are integral at Jam for critical detailed part inspections. All of the respective gauging equipment is calibrated by an ISO-17025 accredited laboratory. Jam also complies to all aerospace AS-9102 F.A.I. requirements.
