Giroux Named President and COO of HDMA

David Giroux has been appointed President and Chief Operating Officer of the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA). He takes over from Tim Kraus, who has retired after 16 years at the trade association. The announcement was made by Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) President and CEO Bill Long. HDMA is the commercial vehicle division of MEMA.
Giroux has more than 25 years of experience working with global OEM industry leaders, Tier 1 suppliers and companies in the heavy-duty aftermarket. Giroux's has held positions throughout North America, Asia-Pacific and Europe with Ford Motor Company, Meritor, Inc., Peterbilt Motors Company, Navistar, Inc. and Daimler Trucks North America.
