Dake Corporation offers the Dake PMM 200MD , which provides up to 200 tons of pressing power in assembly and straightening applications.
The PMM 200MD has a hydraulically operated frame and cylinder allowing for a wide range of movement to accommodate large pieces of metal. This press operates at 5.5 HP and has rapid advance ram speed of 47 IPM. The unit has 31 daylight inches, is 80" wide between the uprights, has a 3" thick table with a length of 98", and a left-to-right workhead travel length of 57".
The PMM 200MD has a double-acting cylinder with five-piece piston seals configured for a pressing operation that is smooth and effective. "This system allows for more accurate pressing, facilitating a higher standard in production," said a company spokesperson. "Pressing pressure has been preset and is locked at the factory maximum for operator safety. An externally accessed oil filter includes an internal filter system that can be cleaned and used repeatedly."
The machine can be turned into a semi-automatic operation by adding an optional 180° rotation pendant control with emergency stop button. In addition to the pendant control, a hydraulic cylinder stroke control is available. Six hydraulic cylinders mounted beneath the table can be added to lift the heaviest pieces of metal.
