CNC Controls In-Stock for Shipments

Centroid now stocks CNC controls systems in common configuration that are available for immediate delivery for both milling and turning machine tool applications. The stock CNC systems are commonly used for new CNC machine tool integrations and for upgrades to existing CNC machine tools. The in-stock CNC systems are prewired with servomotors and machine tool accessory cables ready for connection to the machine tool.

The CNC control I/O (inputs and outputs) and PLC program are also preprogrammed for common machine tool functions, such as flood pump control, lube pump control, mister control, limit switches, spindle VFD control, load meter display, probing, work light, and door interlock and are ready to connect up to the machine tool. Centroid stock CNC systems can also be easily customized by the installer during installation, for example, adding a 4th axis servo drive and motor to the stock 3-axis CNC system is a plug & play operation or adding additional I/O for other machine accessories like dust collection or vacuum hold down is simple and documented.

In addition to offering stock kits Centroid continues to build turn-key CNC control systems for complex machine tools that require custom CNC control configurations as well as offering DIY (do-it-yourself) CNC control kits.

Centroid CNC controls are true closed loop CNC controls with dedicated motion control CPUs that run Centroid CNC software on a Windows 10 platform and come equipped with a color touch screen LCD display and a fast CNC PC with Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN and USB 3.0 ports. Remote CNC support via the internet allows direct Centroid factory support to the CNC control on the customers floor. This allows quick issue resolution while eliminating down time and expensive on-site service.
