Brochure Features Turning Rolls for Cylindrical Workpieces

KOIKE ARONSON RANSOME has produced a brochure featuring its complete line of AR Series turning rolls designed for manufacturing long cylindrical workpieces such as tanks, pressure vessels, pipes or anything cylindrical.
The PRD3 and PRI3 portable pipe rolls feature rubber-tired drivers and idler rolls. The rolls are easily moved and can be set up at the worksite. The WPR pipe rolls feature 5,000 lb. load capacity, 3" to 24" diameter range and 48" frame length.
The WRU unit turning rolls are larger and designed with wheels with taper lock bushings that can be located anywhere along the length of the axles. The WRU system has capacities ranging from 5,000 to 30,000 lbs. The 12" diameter by 4" wide wheels have taper-lock hubs that can be located anywhere along the axles and require no keyways.
The AR Series WRD 5 - WRD 20 feature 5-ton thru 20-ton capacity turning rolls and are designed to fabricate tanks, pressure vessels and pipe. The Aronson design incorporates overload discs on each wheel that prevent excessive loads from damaging the tires. Koike Aronson turning rolls are designed to utilize the strongest worm gears, welded gearboxes and chassis components. The rolls feature overload disc with tie-rod wheel construction, low voltage hand control pendants, 50:1 variable speed drives and AC brake motors.
The WRD 30 through WRD 200 turning rolls offer 30-ton up to 200-ton capacity and are considered the medium range series. The WSD 300 through WSD 1200 series are larger and feature capacities from 300-ton through 1,200-ton.
Also available are the RR Series A-AAA Ransome Rolls with 5-ton through 20-ton capacity with wide diameter range capabilities and the B-E Ransome Rolls with 30-ton through 120-ton capacity for long cylindrical workpieces or long awkward objects.
