Universal Robots Names Area Sales Managers

Universal Robots has announced the appointment of two Area Sales Managers. Earl Raynal, Area Sales Manager for the Great Lakes Region, will cover Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Ontario and other provinces of Canada through to Alberta, South Dakota and Wisconsin.

"Bringing more than 30 years of experience in technical sales and management roles in factory automation and having spent nearly his entire career developing mew material handling and automation applications, Earl sees infinite opportunities to continue that experience with Universal Robots," said a company spokesperson.

Raynal will be working out of Universal Robots' American headquarters in Ann Arbor, MI, close to his alma mater, The University of Michigan, where he received a BS degree in industrial engineering.

Brian Dillman, Area Sales Manager for the Eastern Region, will cover Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama and West Virginia.

"With 20 years in the field, Brian is eager to help realize the promise of collaborative robotics and to bring robotics to brand new areas no one thought of for automation," said the spokesperson. "He brings three decades of sales experience with increasing leadership responsibilities, including positions with KUKA, Motoman and several systems integrators where he sold welding, material-handling, loading, dispensing, and assembly automation solutions."
