U.S. Manufacturing Industry Showcased as Vital Part of Economy

Recruitment and placement professionals representing regional universities and manufacturing focused career agencies visit AIDA-America for MFG Day 2016.

A group of 20 students from the Project Lead the Way pre-engineering program at Centerville High School, Centerville, OH, visit AIDA-America during the MFG Day 2016 event.
AIDA-America recently hosted a group of recruitment and placement professionals from local universities and career agencies, providing them with an understanding of the types of manufacturing and administration disciplines represented and the employment opportunities available. A second group from the Project Lead the Way pre-engineering program at Centerville High School, Centerville, OH, also participated in the event.
"Visitors had the opportunity to tour AIDA-America's 180,000 sq. ft. modern and advanced stamping press manufacturing facility, reinforcing one of MFG Day's goals of showcasing the U.S. manufacturing industry as a vital part of the economy and a viable and rewarding choice for future members of the labor force," said a company spokesperson.
"Demonstrations of AIDA's DSF Series servo stamping presses were also given, providing evidence that the machine tool industry continues to evolve, and that leading companies like AIDA continue to push the technology of manufacturing forward," said the spokesperson.
