SmartCAM v2026 Released

SmartCAMcnc announced it has released SmartCAM V2026.
Highlights include:
- Home position live tool support: Now used by live tools in addition to the previously supported tools
- Radial and axial tool orientation settings: New radial and axial tool orientation settings have been added to the tool definition. These can be used to establish the tool orientation when positioned at the home position.
- New Named Groups Manager: The Named Groups Manager now allows users to group the contents of one or more existing named groups, giving them more control.
- New Macro Commands (MCL) to assist with Groups.
- New Mask and Hide options added to the Planner: Increase productivity with the ability to Hide, Mask or both directly from the Job Operations Manager.
CTK and MCL Automation improvements:
- Automation: Several SmartCAM functions have been updated to support regeneration.
- Macro Updates: The macro command used to create a regenerative container from the results of a macro has been enhanced.
- CTK Automation Macro Path: The locations that SmartCAM examines have been expanded.
- The Define Plane Rotation Tools have been expanded to be more useful.
- The Most Recently Used (MRU) file list will now display a preview of PM5 files as they are hovered over.
- New numeric format to control the format when outputting decimal values.
- ACIS update: ACIS updated to v2025 1.0 (R35).
