At the booth, Wintriss will feature its new WPC APEX Clutch/Brake Press Control for mechanical power presses. The WPC APEX is a full-featured control system with an intuitive touchscreen interface, tool number memory, and four dedicated die protection inputs. The control provides detailed self-diagnostics and supports up to four operator stations and up to four shadow light curtains. Additional safety features include multiple interlocks, cross-checked input pairs, stroke-mode-specific inputs, and five individual I-stop and E-stop button inputs. Also being highlighted is the new Wintriss Shadow 10 Light Curtain, the latest generation of Wintriss's Shadow family of presence-sensing safety devices. The CSA-certified system offers comprehensive diagnostics, highly configurable blanking functions, and an advanced fault-tolerant design to provide dependable operator protection. For fabricators operating press brakes, Wintriss will showcase the industry leading WintrissISB Merlin Press Brake Guarding System. Merlin utilizes advanced laser-based optical protection technology to safeguard operators while maintaining machine productivity and ease of use. The system continuously monitors the area near the tooling and automatically adapts protection as the press brake cycle progresses, allowing operators to work close to the point of operation without sacrificing safety. Merlin is suitable for a wide range of press brake applications and helps manufacturers meet applicable safety requirements while minimizing set-up complexity and downtime.
