For Unison Tube LLC, FABTECH 2026 is particularly significant. That is because as well as showcasing its advanced tube and wire bending machines and associated software technologies, the Danville, VA, business will also present tube and pipe end forming machines from California-based PHI Hydraulics.
Unison Ltd acquired PHI in March 2026 to further accelerate the growth of its North American division, Unison Tube LLC, and to further extend its already comprehensive product portfolio.

Unison's purchase of PHI has introduced additional end-forming technologies and tooling for tube and pipe flaring, flanging, beading, and squaring & deburring to the Unison product range — with end-forming machines covering tube and pipe diameters from as little as 0.125" (3.175 mm) to 8" (20 cm). Other PHI products on offer include manual and hydraulic tube and pipe bending machines and tooling, as well as manual and motorized hydraulic presses.
In addition to viewing PHI machines, visitors to booth N9101 will be able to see several of Unison's advanced machine tools in action. These include one of the company's all-electric, ultra-precise, 5-axis Twinhead machines — a model developed especially for the high-speed production of the symmetrical tubular shapes that are typically found in automotive, agricultural, and furniture manufacturing, as well as in shopping cart construction.
Models from Unison's Pneuform range of wire and small-diameter tube and bar bending machines will also be on display. Unison acquired Pneuform in the fall of 2023 and has recently introduced a number of performance enhancements to the range, including a new integrated CNC and 3D simulation system with a key focus on ease of use, production uplift, and low cost of ownership.
The Unison team at FABTECH 2026 will be demonstrating the company's Opt2Sim Scan 3D tube scanning system. An advanced handheld tube measurement solution, Opt2Sim Scan combines rapid scanning of tube geometry with easy extraction of tube data. Teamed with a Creaform handheld 3D scanner to measure the tube or component they wish to replicate or measure, operators need only enter bending data into Opt2Sim Scan, then compare measured tube dimensions to master file data and send any corrections directly to the bending machine.
