KRNX Enables Real Time Control



KRNX, Kawasaki's API plug-in, enables Real Time Control (RTC) to execute complex and irregular applications. KRNX opens the door for Kawasaki robots to leverage unlimited external computing power, enabling anything from machine learning applications to advanced safety, the company reported.

RTC continuously updates joint angles on the robot, giving advanced users full control of the robot's motion. Real-time applications leverage the computation power of high-performance computers that calculate the motion path using perception systems.

The KRNX interface allows users to unlock underlying system information beyond Kawasaki's AS Programming language. KRNX can be easily integrated into external software, allowing for easy support with open-source software libraries, such as ROS. KRNX additionally allows external software to easily interface with Kawasaki robots so users can utilize existing development cycles/tools.
