Rotary Transfer Machine with Ball-Screw Drive Technology

Hydromat Inc. will present the new FORCE CNC Rotary Transfer Machine, a state-of-the-art electromechanical system with ball-screw drive technology, at its Oktoberfest Open House event on October 17-19, 2023.

Hydromat has launched the new FORCE CNC Rotary Transfer Machine. This state-of-the-art machine is a ball-screw electromechanical system that offers modularity with options for 1- through 4-axis configurations, providing drilling, tapping, threading, thread milling, single-point threading, profiling and milling capabilities. It utilizes up to 12 or 16 horizontal machining stations and 6 or 8 vertical machining stations, with a maximum spindle speed of 8,500 RPM for mill/drill units and 5,000 RPM for lathe turning.

The FORCE CNC Rotary Transfer Machine is designed, engineered and assembled by Hydromat OEM experts and FANUC authorized integrators, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability, the company reported. It comes equipped with FORCE 50/150 tool spindle units, which are FANUC-controlled and offer advanced technology for AI-learning and chip-breaking functions. The units are standard with a C-axis servo motor for tapping or single-point turning compatibility, as well as direct-coupled motor/ballscrew for Y- and Z-axis.

The FORCE CNC Rotary Transfer Machine is equipped with a FANUC 30i Model B Control, which offers an intuitive and easy-to-use interface that caters to both programmers and on-site operators. The control features a high-speed processing capability, allowing for faster cycle times and improved productivity. It also has advanced diagnostic and maintenance features, enabling easy troubleshooting and maintenance.

The new FORCE CNC Rotary Transfer Machine is planned to make its debut at the Hydromat Oktoberfest, taking place from October 17-19, 2023. Visitors will have the opportunity to see the FORCE in action and experience its wide range of capabilities firsthand. In addition to showcasing its latest technology, Hydromat and its associates will provide guests with an authentic Oktoberfest experience, including traditional German cuisine, a Bavarian-style beer hall, and the Deutschmeister Brass Band.
