Walter DB130 Advance solid carbide micro drill
Walter has introduced the DB130 Advance, its smallest solid carbide micro drill with diameters from 0.004 to 0.06" (0.1 mm to 1.45 mm). With a point angle of 118° and cylindrical shank, the drill is designed to meet DIN 1899 standards.
"The DB130 Advance is engineered to deliver high precision and process reliability, due in large part to its micro-grain carbide, a special grade that enables optimum cutting-edge formation for high-precision applications," said a company spokesperson. Due to its large standard range, the DB130 Advance solid carbide drill can be used universally in a wide range of ISO applications from steels and stainless to super alloys and hardened materials.
This drill can find ready application in industries such as general machining, watchmaking, automotive and food as well as in die and mold. For diameters of 0.02" (0.5 mm) and above, the Walter DB133 Supreme solid carbide drill can be used.
