KNUTH Machine Tools Hosts Governor Rauner

KNUTH Machine Tools recently hosted Illinois' Governor Bruce Rauner and a delegation of Illinois business and community leaders during a recent European jobs mission. Governor Rauner toured the facility and worldwide headquarters for KNUTH Machine Tools in Wasbek, Germany, while viewing machine demonstrations and discussing the relationship between Illinois and the KNUTH Group.
Frank Fontana, VP of Sales at KNUTH Machine Tools USA was on hand to speak about the company's past, present and future in Illinois as well as topics related to manufacturing both on a local and national level: "Governor Rauner has shown a commitment to Illinois, to the manufacturing industry in our state, as well as a genuine interest in our company and we appreciate that."
KNUTH Machine Tools was founded in Germany in 1923 and opened the Chicago branch in 2003. Today KNUTH employs over 400 people in more than 40 countries and is celebrating 15 years in the USA. A large full service facility promotes the entire KNUTH product line of metalworking machinery.
