TIG and Stick Welding Solutions

The Dynasty 800 and Maxstar 800 welders deliver greater weld output - up to 800 amps of output power - and enhanced TIG and stick welding performance for applications such as pipe and tube fabrication, precision fabrication and exotic material fabrication.

Miller Electric Mfg. Co. has added the Dynasty 800 and the Maxstar 800 to its lineup of TIG welding solutions. The machines deliver up to 800 amps of output power and enhanced TIG and stick welding performance for applications such as pipe and tube fabrication, precision fabrication, pressure vessel fabrication and exotic material fabrication.

The Dynasty 800 power source is AC/DC TIG and stick-capable, rated for 1" thick aluminum and steel. It replaces the previous Dynasty 700 model. The DC TIG and stick-capable Maxstar 800 replaces the Maxstar 700 model and is rated up to 1" thick steel.

Meter calibration on the new machines allows the digital meters to be accurately adjusted for certification - saving time and confusion during process audits. Standardized menus on the power sources also help reduce welding operator training time and labor costs.

The Cooler-On-Demand feature operates the machine's auxiliary cooling system only when needed, reducing noise, energy use and the airborne contaminants pulled through the cooler, while the Pro-Set feature makes machine set-up faster and easier by eliminating guesswork when setting weld parameters.

The machines can be connected to almost any type of available input power due to the Auto-Line power management technology. This technology adds convenience and produces a steady, high-quality arc. As a result, welding operators can work in more places while maintaining a steady welding output for consistently high-quality welds.

As with other power sources in the Dynasty and Maxstar lineup, the new models are fully compatible with Miller wireless remote control solutions, which allow welding operators complete control over welding parameters up to 300' away (with hand control) from the power source. This feature helps improve safety and efficiency. In addition, the ability to have precise operator control at the point of the weld helps improve weld quality, while the elimination of cord tangles and maintenance saves time and money.
