Large Diameter Low Profile Stationary Chucks

The new Nobel ASM series low profile stationary chucks are designed for clamping large diameter parts on vertical machining centers. The ASM chucks are equipped with a built in pneumatic cylinder to allow for easy opening and closing via standard shop air connections.
The standard chuck diameters are 460 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm. Special diameters can be quoted upon request. The chucks are supplied with standard 2-piece jaws that have a 3 mm x 60° serration, which allows the ability to use different style top jaws (soft jaws, hard jaws, pie jaws) that will best suit the application.
The chucks come standard with one set of soft top jaws, through-hole cover and jaw wipers to prevent coolant and shavings from entering the chuck body.
