LED Replacement for Fluorescent Tube Luminaires

Waldmann Lighting offers MACH LED PLUS, an LED lighting solution designed for maintenance-free, energy-efficient machining environments.

MACH LED PLUS is available in six lengths ranging from 14" to 42". "For especially high illuminance requirements, power versions with twice the number of LEDs are available," said a company spokesperson. "Energy consumption is 70% lower than that of classic fluorescent tube luminaires, complemented by a long LED service life, which saves maintenance costs throughout the entire luminaire life cycle."

According to the company, MACH LED PLUS is suitable for OEM applications in addition to replacing tube luminaires. Its original Light Forming Technology is designed to ensure efficient light control and uniform light illuminating the inside of a machine with a wide angle of illumination.

"The MACH LED PLUS design adds LED technology to the same form, dimension and connection options of classic tube luminaires being used in so many industrial environments today," said the spokesperson. "The 2.75-inch diameter allows for the use of existing brackets eliminating the need to drill new holes. In addition, specially developed brackets are available for flexible adjustment of the luminaires." MACH LED PLUS can be connected via an M12 plug connector to either 24V or to 100, 120, or 220-240V configurations.

According to the company, MACH LED PLUS is compatible with classic tube luminaires in shape, dimensions and connection options and offers the following features:

  • Eco or High Power Versions (twice the number of LEDs)
  • Housing made of aluminum, high-performance plastic and 4 mm safety glass
  • Resistant to coolants and lubricants
  • ETL/cETL approved.
