Urethane Covered Bearings for Non-Marring Operation

Fixtureworks now offers Fairlane Products urethane covered bearings in both inch and metric sizes.

Fixtureworks now offers Fairlane Products urethane covered bearings in both inch and metric sizes. The smooth urethane surface is cast directly on a precision sealed ball bearing. According to the company, they offer quiet and non-marring operation while also providing enhanced abrasion resistance and durability.

"The bearings are available in stock, ready to ship with no lead time, no minimum order and no tooling required," said a company spokesperson. "This is counter to traditional availability of these types bearing rollers, many of which require lead time, minimum orders and tooling."

The inch and metric sizes are offered in two styles, single bearing and double bearing. The single bearing style is available in diameter sizes from 0.750" to 3" and from 20 to 70 mm. Widths range from 0.196" to 0.563" and 5 to 12 mm.

The double bearing style is available in diameters from 0.750" to 3.00" and 20 to 70 mm, with widths from 0.392" to 1.125" and 10 to 24 mm. Durometers are available from 35 to 95 in both inch and metric sizes.

The urethane covered bearings are also available with stud mount. These covered bearings also have a smooth urethane surface. They come assembled with a button head cap screw, spacer and locknut for easy mounting. The stud mounts, also available in metric sizes, are available in diameters from 0.875" to 2.00" and 20 to 50 mm with stud sizes ranging from 1/4" to 5/8" and M5 to M12, durometers from 35 to 95.
