Doosan Infracore America Machine Tools (DIA) awarded Protek CNC Sales of Orange County, CA, the President's Award during its 21st Annual Distributor Conference at the Ritz-Carlton Cancun Resort, February 21, 2015. In addition to the President's Award, Protek took home a Century Award, which goes to distributors that sell over 100 Doosan machines in a single year.
Accepting the awards for Protek was Founder and President Angelo Ariondo. Presenting the awards were J.Y. Lee, Vice President of Doosan Infracore Machine Tools Business Group and H.E. Ahn, CEO of Doosan Infracore America.
"Protek CNC Sales was a major contributor to DIA's record year in machine sales in 2014 by selling over 100 machines in Southern California," noted Mr. Ahn. "Angelo and his team truly represent the spirit of Doosan by supporting their customers with optimal solutions and superior customer support."
Additional awards handed out at Doosan's 21st Annual Distributor Conference by Andrew McNamara, Director of Sales and Marketing and Marc Muniz, Regional Sales Manager, included the 2014 Special Recognition Award, which went to Jim and Matt Selway of CNC Solutions of Milpitas, CA. Awards for Outstanding Sales Performance went to: Richard Short of Adams Machinery; Jim and Matt Selway of CNC Solutions; Jim and Lars Grisley of J.M. Grisley Machine Tools; and Angelo Ariondo of Protek CNC Sales.
