Caron Engineering invites attendees to visit booth 5359 during Manufacturing Technology Series EAST (formerly called EASTEC), where it will showcase its latest automation solution for manufacturing: MiConnect Technology.
MiConnect is an application builder that enables seamless interconnectivity across the manufacturing environment. By bridging CNC machines, robots, supervisory systems, gauging devices and automation components, MiConnect creates a fully integrated and optimized production process-no coding required.

Visitors can see MiConnect and Caron Engineering's smart manufacturing product suite in action on its fully automated production cell. The live cutting demo will feature a bar feeder fed Tsugami Swiss lathe equipped with adaptive tool monitoring to automatically optimize cutting. This demo will also feature a post-process automation cell with a collaborative robot, air-actuated parts cleaner, vision gauging and automated feedback for tool wear compensation sent directly to the control.
