Mid Atlantic Machinery Adds Northeast Division

Mid Atlantic Machinery has added a new northeast division, Northeast Machinery Sales. Northeast Machinery Sales will cover from New York to Maine and will have father/son duo Steve Tapply, Vice President, and Nick Tapply, Regional Territory Manager, at the forefront of its organization.

Tapply and Tapply come to Northeast Machinery Sales with 40 years of combined industry experience after careers starting with Marvel Saw, Jancy Engineering and most recently at Ercolina and Nitto Kohki as direct factory representatives. "Their past experience in the metalworking industry will help many of the same customers with whom they have had relationships and will also bring confidence to new customers as a new metalworking machinery dealer," said a company spokesperson.

"While it was a difficult decision leaving a great company, we are excited to start our own with the partnership of Mid Atlantic Machinery," Vice President Steve Tapply said. "We have known them for many years and the opportunity to work with this first-class organization came at the right time. Our partnership gives us the opportunity to represent great product lines, apply machinery application knowledge and offer the support of their service staff. All of these reasons combined will provide our customers with a world class buying experience."

Northeast Machinery Sales has selected western Massachusetts as headquarters for its office, demonstration facility and showroom.

"This facility will give customers a central location to have the opportunity to see machines in action, test out their applications and learn about new products," stated President Kevin Kilgallen. "We look forward to continued success in the New England area with Northeast Machinery Sales led by Nick and Steve Tapply."

The company will distribute machines for the structural and miscellaneous fabricator, machine shops, manufacturers, as well as machinery for the precision sheet metal fabricator.

Northeast Machinery Sales will be the fourth company to become an extension of the Mid Atlantic Machinery group and will join existing divisions: Southern States Machinery, Southern States Machinery Florida and EHRT North America.
