Threading Competency Builder Event April 24

Toyoda Americas has partnered with Walter Tools for its second installment of the Competence Builder event focused on threading techniques. Threading Competency Builder will be held on Tuesday, April 24, from 11 AM - 2 PM, at Toyoda's Orange County tech center.
The event will offer solutions for common tapping challenges. Attendees will see live machining demonstrations on Toyoda's Stealth 965 VMC featuring internal thread making in a wide range of materials. Implementing various cut taps, thread formers and thread mills, Walter experts will explain the company's "Engineering Komptenz" and guide users in how to find the right tool based on material type and application.

Featured Machine: Stealth 965 VMC
The box-way, FANUC 0i MD controlled high-precision Stealth 965 features a 12K RPM direct drive CAT40 spindle reaching 25 HP (15 kW) for 30 min./30 HP (11 kW) cont.
