Haas Factory Outlet-A Division of Midwest Machinery Resources, LLC (HFO/Chicago) is in the final stages of fitting out its new, larger, Elk Grove Village Tech Center, located at 165 N. Lively Blvd. According to Tim Taylor, Vice President of HFO/Chicago, the new standalone facility offers 35% more space than their current facility and is scheduled to open mid to late April.
"Visible to those traveling East along I-90, the 18,500 sq. ft. HFO/Chicago Tech Center is conveniently located in one of the most densely populated manufacturing hubs in the Midwest," said a company spokesperson. The facility's unique layout provides sales and administrative offices spread out among two floors in the front, with two large bays located in the rear. The showroom will occupy the bay nearest to the offices, with ample space to power up over a dozen CNC machine tools for customer events, machine demonstrations and turn-key run-offs.
In the larger bay at the rear of the building, HFO/Chicago will store over $2.0 million worth of spare parts, with a separate entrance for customer pick-up. A training room for operator and maintenance classes is also conveniently located in the rear of the facility.
HFO/Chicago is the exclusive supplier of Haas CNC machine tools and rotary products for Northern, Illinois and Indiana and has been serving local manufacturers for over 20 years. This is the second new facility it has opened since 2016, with the Indiana Tech Center located in Lebanon, IN. HFO/Chicago is a wholly owned subsidiary of Morris Group, Inc.
