CAMPAT Machine Tool, Inc., a machine tool dealer and importer headquartered in Plano, TX, has announced the grand opening of a new Florida division and office in Clearwater, FL. The new division is located at 13131 56th Court, Suite #301, Clearwater, FL, 33760.
The new Florida location's 2,000 sq. ft. facility features a showroom with machines under power, a sales office and a service center offering a wide variety of machine tools and accessories.
To expand sales and service of their machine tool lines in the Southeast region, Joe Tomalonis, CAMPAT's President and founder, has appointed 12-year employee Andy Pennington to head up this new facility as Sales Manager of the Florida Division.
"We have a powerful group of machine tool product lines and accessories that can compete with the best in the business. Now, with the new facility and sales/service staff, we are better positioned to bring excellent service to our customers in Florida, Georgia and Puerto Rico." said Pennington, who has 30 years of experience in the machine tool business.
The CAMPAT machine tool line-up includes Leadwell CNC Machine, which produces vertical machining centers (VMCs), box way turning centers, turning centers with multi-axis and a 5-axis CNC vertical machining center (VMC). "CAMPAT has been a proud dealer/importer of Leadwell CNC for over 30 years, a feat that is mostly nonexistent in today's quick to change importer climate," said Pennington.
For over 20 years CAMPAT has offered Kitamura Machinery machining centers, which feature tight tolerances and accuracies. The Clearwater office will continue this tradition by offering vertical and horizontal machining centers, double column machining centers and 5-axis machining solutions. "CAMPAT's long relationship with Kitamura makes it one of Kitamura's largest dealer territories covering Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, northern Illinois, and now FL and Puerto Rico," said a company spokesperson.
In the rotary transfer machining sector, CAMPAT's Florida location represents Hydromat Inc. This includes Hydromat's line of legacy style machines, EPIC II full CNC 12- and 16-station rotary transfer machines, ICON mill/turn centers and the new Eclipse rotary machining centers.
The Eumach machine tool line is also a brand that CAMPAT will extend to its Southeast region via the Clearwater office. Eumach specializes in a line of heavy duty vertical and horizontal machining centers, bridge and gantry type machining centers and a group of multi-axis universal milling machines.
CAMPAT's new office will also offer imported accessories such as GSA rotary tables, TonFou chucks, Evermore toolholders and many more. The Florida office will work in conjunction with the home office in Plano, TX, to sell and supervise the reconditioning and rebuilding of machines, spindles, ways, local installations, machine training programs and turn-key solutions.
