New Facility to Meet Demand

Pryor Technology Inc. has opened a new one-stop-shop sales and service center in Richmond, VA. The move will enable the company to further enhance its service to customers and meet growing demand for its advanced manufacturing solutions.

"Pryor Technology Inc. has been meeting the marking, identification and traceability needs of customers for over 30 years, supplying a limited selection of its best in class products through a network of distributors," said a company spokesperson. "The company will now be offering its full range of products, including manual marking tools and laser and dot peen marking machines."

"Pryor Technology Inc. is delighted to be opening our first dedicated facility in North America," said Alastair Morris, Vice President. "Delivering an unrivalled level of service and support is at the very heart of who we are; the new facility and our team of highly trained professionals enables us to ensure this for customers in the region. We will also have better market intelligence, allowing us to develop products for the specific requirements of the region."

Pryor Technology Inc. is part of the Pryor Group. The company has roots back to 1849, when founder William Pryor purchased a mark making business in Sheffield, England, where his son, Edward, was serving his apprenticeship. Today, the company is still run from its headquarters in Sheffield.

"Having our base in Virginia will allow us to optimize delivery times and provide round the clock service support to customers," continues Morris. "Also, we place great importance on the local community, and since Richmond has a wealth of cultural, artistic and business amenities, it is the ideal location for our operations."
