Affordable Entry into Sinker EDM Technology

KNUTH Machine Tools USA offers a variety of EDM machines - including wire, bi-directional wire and sinker type models. The entry level, ZNC-EDM 250, provides users with a low-cost sinker type EDM with NC controlled feed on the Z-axis. Its compact design allows for machining of small and medium size parts with a 17" x 11" table and 10" x 8" x 8" travel. The machine is designed with a rigid base, separate dielectric reservoir and linear scales on all axes to ensure constant precision.

"The ZNC-EDM 250 is a low-maintenance and a highly efficient machine; its design is operator-friendly allowing operators to easily program the machine. Every machine is equipped with a flame sensor and fire extinguishing system for safety. The ZNC-EDM 250 is perfect for schools, tool rooms and low production applications in any environment," said a company spokesperson.

The series also includes the ZNC 435L and 760L, larger full CNC models.
